Spanish mortgages for expats

 

We area able to arrange mortgages for most clients and can recommend well respected independant Mortgage Brokers who can offer better terms than the Spanish high street banks.

For a non Spanish resident the usual maximum you can borrow from a Spanish bank is 70% loan to value (LTV) For tax residents in Spain the LTV is higher at 80%-90%.

 

The usual credit checks will be made in the UK and a proof of earning with the following documents required:

- Passport and NIE.
- 3 last pay slips.
- Job contract.
- 2 last P60 (employees) or 3 last Tax Return (self employed)
- Credit Bureau  www.experian.co.uk
- Last 6 months bank statements to check salaries, savings and payments.
