Bullas
The wines of the Bullas Denominación de Origen are obtained from the vineyards located in the municipalities of Bullas, Cehegín, Mula and Ricote and part of the municipalities of Calasparra, Caravaca, Lorca and Moratalla. The reds are made fundamentally from the Monastrell variety, which gives these wines a cheerful, Mediterranean character; the whites are based on the Macabeo variety. New varieties are currently being introduced, which, added to the application of modern winegrowing technologies, promise this young denominación a magnificent future.

JUMILLA
The Jumilla Denominación de Origen spreads over the municipality of Jumilla and 6 municipalities in the province of Albacete. The predominant variety is Monastrell for reds and Airén, Macabeo and Pedro Ximénez for whites. The introduction of other vines, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah in reds, is enjoying excellent results and has given rise to what specialised critics have termed the ¿new Jumillas¿, wines which combine the typical fruity bouquet of Monastrell with the body and fullness of the new varieties. Jumilla wines have attained a new level of recognition within Spain¿s wine-producing panorama.

YECLA
This Denominación de Origen comprises exclusively the municipality of Yecla. Monastrell is grown for reds and Macabeo and Chardonnay for whites, although progress has been made with the introduction of new varieties which adapt perfectly to the soil and climate. Yecla wines are fundamentally young, fruity and with a character of their own. Their crianza wines, aged in barrels of American and French oak, have hues of teak and touches of vanilla. This is a rapidly expanding Denominación de Origen with a brilliant future.
