  • The house was built in 2008. The modern design is probaby the main characteristic that makes the house outstand in the zone. Clear, almost simetric white rectangular forms and a plain roof  are more usual for Ibiza or some other Mediterranean island, and contrast drastically with the traditional continental architecture that uses mainly bricks or stones and tile roofs with triangular forms. But surprisingly the house matched perfectly the landscape and now it is an empellishment of the area.

    The architect was inspired by the picular situation and orientation of the slot. It is situated on a hill, abundant trees hide the neighbour houses but allow spectacular views. The remote paysage has green-blueish tones, resembling the Mediterranean sea colors, which at night reminds a port by the form of lights of a distant village. South-West orientation offers the most beautiful sunsets… All that suggests a certain similarity with a vacation lifestyle on Mediterranean sea, full of relax and unconcern.

    The absence of urban pollutions makes the sky in this area absolutely cloudless, direct sun rays make the colors bright and saturated at daytime, and at night time you can see hundreds of stars, with clearly divisible canstellations. In August it is only in this area of Madrid where you can see the falling stars “rain”, called “The tears of St.Laurence”.

    The house was made to make compatible the life indoor and outdoor. The huge but easy-sliding door-windows open the access to multiple spacious terraces that you can use 24 hrs a day in warm seasons. It is connected to the swimming pool and offers gourgeous views: beautiful green arbored hills at daytime, and lights of Navalagamella town and its iluminated XVth century Church at night….
