Making a Will in Spain

Making a Will in Spain to cover your Spanish property
For the Expat who owns a property in Spain you should make a simple Spanish Will to cover your Spanish property only. From 17 August 2015 non resident owners of Spanish property will be able to include the Spanish property in their UK Will without the need for a separate Spanish Will. Expats who are Spanish residents will still be required to have a separate Spanish Will.

Spanish Expat residents will still need a UK (or Scottish) Will if they have UK Property/Savings/Life Insurance/Investments/ISAs etc or perhaps intend one day in the future to return to the UK.

Making a UK (or Scottish) Will in Spain for Expats (UK)
Many of the British expats who have settled in Spain may need to make, or re-make, a Will to cover the UK side of their affairs. Now this can be achieved without leaving the comfort of their Spanish homes with a new service from Legal Will Writers who offer a free initial consultancy and can draw up new Single or Mirror Will(s) and send it by email or post. For those living on the Costa Blanca and in Murcia there is also a new home visit service.
